Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026.

Qispi is made by Atacama Labs. This page says what we collect, why, and who else is involved. The short version: Qispi never sends your screen, your keys or your files to us. They go straight from your device to your own Mac.

  • Your screen, your input, your sound, your clipboard, your camera and microphone travel only between your device and your own Mac, encrypted end to end, over Tailscale or a cable. They never pass through our servers; we have none in the way.
  • Pairing keys stay on your devices: in Qispi Host’s Keychain on the Mac, and in Qispi’s Keychain on your iPad, iPhone or other Mac.
  • Crash reports. If Qispi crashes, iPadOS and iOS give it a report of what happened (the code it was running, not your content). Qispi sends it to Qispi Host on your Mac, which keeps it in ~/Library/Logs/Qispi Crashes. It reaches us only if you choose to send it.
  • Updates. Qispi Host checks every few hours for a new version, on GitHub, where it’s published. That check sends nothing about you beyond what any web request does (your IP address, to GitHub).
  • No analytics, no advertising, no tracking in either app.

While Qispi is in beta, it’s distributed through Apple’s TestFlight. Apple shares with us what TestFlight shares with every developer: the email you were invited with, your name if you gave it, which build you installed, and the feedback, screenshots and crash reports you choose to send. See Apple’s privacy policy.

  • The beta request form keeps what you type (your name, your Apple ID email, your devices, your note), the country your request came from (from your IP address, which isn’t kept), and the date. It’s stored by Cloudflare (in a database for this site) and emailed to us through Brevo. We use it only to invite you to the beta and to write to you about it, never for marketing, and we don’t share it.
  • The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a script, is sending it: it looks at signals from your browser for that moment only, sets no tracking cookie, and we don’t receive any of it.
  • Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and keeps no personal profile: pages visited, the referring site, the country, the kind of device.
  • No cookies are set by the site.
  • Tailscale connects your devices for Remote. It’s your own account, under Tailscale’s privacy policy; Qispi’s traffic through it is encrypted by Qispi as well.
  • Cloudflare hosts the website; Brevo sends the form’s emails; GitHub hosts Qispi Host’s downloads.
  • To see or delete what the beta form kept about you, or to leave the beta, write to hi@qispi.app. We delete it within a few days.
  • To delete everything on your devices: remove Qispi and Qispi Host, and forget the pairings (Qispi Host’s menu › Paired Devices).

Write to hi@qispi.app. If this policy changes, this page will say so, with the date above.
